Questions and answers

When are tomorrow's prices published?

Around 14:00 Estonian time (13:00 CET). Bidding closes at 13:00, and the result, with a price for every 15 minutes of the next day, usually appears between 13:45 and 14:00. If the auction is delayed, the prices come later in the afternoon.

Can tomorrow's prices still change?

No. Once published, the auction result is final, and an exchange-price package bills exactly these prices. The hourly prices in the table are averages of the four quarter-hour prices.

Why is tomorrow's price sometimes the same as in Finland?

When the Estlink cables have room to spare, the auction gives Estonia and Finland one price. When they are full, or one cable is out of service, Estonia gets a price of its own, usually higher and closer to Latvia's.
